Data Engineering Manager (Advanced Analytics)

£55000 - £70000 per annum

Our hugely successful and rapidly expanding business advisory client is seeking to add depth to its advanced data engineering capability. They seek intelligent, skilled and curious engineers to help solve their clients complex data problems.

We are seeking to speak to passionate and dynamic individuals excited by empowering decision-making with data. Candidates should have robust experience in data engineering - with ambitions to further develop and apply these skills to support clients with high-value business problems such as consumer analytics, operations optimisation opportunities and risk analytics challenges.

Key Requirements

* 3+ years work experience in a consultancy with team lead / project management experience.

* An analytical degree such as computer science, physics, mathematics, or equiv.

* Working knowledge of real-time data streaming/message queues in an enterprise environment (such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar).

* Working knowledge of big data processing platforms in an enterprise environment (such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive).

* Experience with stream-processing systems (such Spark-Streaming, Flink, Samza, Beam).

* Experience with work flow tools (such as Oozie, Airflow) and data flow tools (such as NiFi).
