THE ROLE
There are a lot of challenges within the role, including:
- Ensuring there is sufficient system test coverage
- Creation and maintenance of automated test suites, choosing appropriate frameworks and tools
- Integrating the automation suite into the CI process
All of our current testing is done manually so we are looking for a strong-minded individual to look at our systems, evaluate what we need and implement a strategy for QA moving forwards.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
We utilise various different technologies, both proprietary and open source, but are always happy to investigate new tools, technologies and processes. Some of the team here use things like C#, JavaScript, Python, others use Shell or SOAP or WCF.
An ideal candidate will have a background working with multiple technologies but will want to learn and upskill.
