Application Software Engineer, C# WPF, 3 Months, Durham, £300-£350 Per Day

I am currently recruiting for a Software Engineer specialising in desktop applications to work for a security company based near Durham, The company manufacture and develop alarm systems.

They are looking to add a contract C# WPF Application Software Engineer to their team for a minimum 3 months to help them with an increase in workload.

In particular you will be working on a complex WPF application which continuously runs multiple tasks and tests to confirm the compliance and status of their alarms and sends alerts to engineers should they fail.

You will have the chance to identify and then develop new features and additions to the complex application as well as streamline existing code and make it easily testable.

Key Skills:

C#/.Net Development Experience

WPF Desktop Development Experience

C++/CLI

Familiarity with SQL

Communication Protocol Experience such as USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet would be nice to have.
