Big Data Architect - Home Based - £80K

My client are a Microsoft Gold Partner and help customers realize results in a digital world through business technology solutions and managed services that combine insight, innovation and expertise focused on Microsoft technologies.

As a Big Data Architect, you will lead the Azure Data Services technical architecture. You will lead on data architecture design sessions, implementation projects and/or proofs of concepts. You will have experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture and design discussions with senior executives.

This is a permanent position paying an annual salary up to £80,000 plus 9% bonus, £1900 per year in extended benefits for gadget, travel or wellbeing, 25 days holidays, private medical cover, life assurance, 7% pension contribution if you contribute 3.5%.

Key Skills/Experience:

* Implementing Big Data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services; including Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lake Analytics.

* Design end-to-end cloud analytics solutions

* Design data pipelines to support machine-learning solutions

* Design big data real-time processing solutions

* Design big data batch processing and interactive solutions

You must also be flexible to travel. This role will involve travelling/staying on client site but will also typically involve 1 day per week working from home. My client will also endeavour to place you as close to home as possible.
