Quality Engineer / Quality Manager- Lighting

£35000-55000 DOE

Package including - company bonus, 25 days holiday + 1 day for every year after 5 years, Pension, interest free season rail / tube ticket loan, cycle to work scheme

Permanent position - immediate start - Monday Friday role

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer or quality manager from a lighting manufacturing background looking for the next exciting step in your career?

The ideal candidate will be time served and from a lighting manufacturing/technical background and be able to hit the ground running in the role which will involve testing and certification of products to ensure the right tickets are given to products going out into Europe, China, USA, Canada and Australia.

The role:

* Testing and certification of Lighting and associated products

* Ensuring the correct tickets and codes are attached to products

* Liaising with the design team (here and abroad) and other department on problem solving design and manufacture issues

* UK and sometimes international travel

The person:

* At least 5 years in a similar quality role within the lighting industry

* Preferably degree level qualified with knowledge of 3D design software and processes

* A great multi-tasker and problem solver

* Able to communicate effectively with clients, customers and other engineering departments
