Portfolio Architect (Infrastructure, ITIL, TOGAF) - Port Sunlight - 6 Month Contract

My client, a multi-national consumer goods company are looking for an Architect to join them in Port Sunlight on a 6 month contract basis and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Background:

* The role of Portfolio Architect will be responsible for identifying any significant capacity requirements that require investment in the IT infrastructure or any decommission opportunities that may lead to a cost saving.

* You will also be required to engage closely with Platform Architects and 3rd party technology providers for high level design of infrastructure and ensure complete Infrastructure Solution Design that covers all aspects of the life cycle.

* You will also need to apply standard ITIL and TOGAF frameworks to the design work/solutions.

Required Skills:

* Candidates should be well versed with Cloud Hosting Architecture as well as an appreciation of large scale IT Infrastructure and the review of current capabilities.

* The role may involve some direct reports so any prior experience of the management of a small team would be beneficial.

* You will also be responsible for working closely with a number of 3rd parties as well as with internal stakeholders so good communication skills are essential.

* Any exposure to Security solutions and the secure implementation of solutions containing sensitive information would also be of interest.

* As the role will heavily involve review and design work excellent documentation skills are key for the successful candidate.

* TOGAF and ITIL experience/certifications are also of interest to the client.

* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo background checks prior to joining the client.
