Java Web Developer - up to 65K plus bens

Well established, growing publishing house, with a customer base of over 250 institutions in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, is looking to recruit a Java Web Developer. Joining a team of 3 talented developers, you will be developing and delivering java-based applications, but also across the full stack. One of the key focuses of this role, is to work on their main website, develop new features and work towards plans for an eventual replacement of this service.

Technology stack includes: Java, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS, Linux, JavaScript, ReactJS (not all essential)

Role Overview

As the Java Developer, you will implement solutions using best practices including TDD and clean code, whilst participating in analysis, spring planning and design activities.

If you take an active interest in the improvement of processes and tools, enjoy contributing to the product delivery process utilising Continuous Integration and DevOps, we want to hear from you.

Salary: up to 65K

Benefits: 25 days annual leave, flexitime, health care, life assurance
