Project Manager - Defence/MOD/National Security - Tewkesbury/Remote/Client sites - £50,000 - £65,000 plus excellent benefitsAn innovative technology company based in Gloucestershire, is looking to hire a Project Manager with a background in working on Government or MOD projects.
This unique business is engaged in cutting edge research and solution development for Government and Military clients.
We are looking for someone who can act as a Project Manager for multiple small to medium sized research and development projects. A personable individual who is comfortable "front of house" and can build enduring and productive relationships with customers.
The role will involve travel to customer sites across the South of England, but home working and flexible hours are acceptable and even encouraged if this aids productivity.
Essential skillsExpsoure to Defence, Government or National Security projectsBackground working in a SME where small development teams work at tempo.The ability to manage several projects of varying sizes at any one time.Prince2 or other relevant Project management qualificationsHighly desirableA background in Machine Learning or software engineeringHave familiarity with software engineering practices and processesAn engineering /computer science degreeA research backgroundHold current UK Government security clearance.
