Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists have an opportunity for a Senior Application Developer to join an innovative .NET team, supporting leading-edge software products in the data, document, image & records management field. This is a fantastic & challenging job opportunity for a highly focused and creative Developer, aiming to work at a world class level.

THE BASICS:

The ideal Application Developer will understand .NET, in particular C# and ASP.Net. JavaScript experience and exposure to XML and SQL is also required. This is ideal for someone who is keen and willing to learn to gain broad experience at the coal-face of advanced commercial software development with immediate responsibilities and contributions to live customer installations.

Your responsibilities will include contributing to the maintenance and development of our clients applications, testing, and documentation, whilst thoroughly testing your own work, as well as being comfortable working on projects with other Developers.

THE TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Developers with demonstrable knowledge with the following technology: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API & Web services and knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery & HTML5/ CSS3 will be sought after.

Developers with exposure to Bootstrap, coupled with nHibernate experience and/or Microsoft Entity Framework : with general MS Visual Studio competence, and experience with TFS will also be of interest.

Other important skills include hands on working knowledge of: IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and general SQL experience (MySQL/SQL Server 2005, 2008) including general DB admin functions.

Good confidence with Windows 2008 & 2012 core setup and configuration and maintenance and development of existing applications as well as a proven experience of developing systems & designing websites in ASP.Net is vital.

THE DESIRABLES:

Dependency Injection, IoC, Castle Windsor, TDD, Angular JS & KnockoutJS experience, though not imperative, will result in an immediate interview request.
