A company based in Central Glasgow are building up a team of pragmatic software developers who understand the importance of using the right tool for the job rather than what is necessarily fashionable. There are so many different trends within your industry right now, some of which have legs and some don't, they want someone who has seen all this before who isn't necessarily taken in by all the hype but recognises there is a place for new technologies.
They'll pay you well and if you are interested in moving into a team lead position as the company grows they'll either utilise your existing skills or give you the opportunity to develop new ones. You'll get a real input into the architectural direction of the business and will help shape the development of the product moving forwards.
The company build software for the food industry, they improve the experience of customers and use of their product has increased the profitability of their clients by 20% on average year on year .
The product has been built over a number of years . Some of it is WebForms, some MVC, some VB and some C#. It's all on Azure and they work with common services such as App Services, SQL Azure and Storage. They use Continuous Integration/ Deployment, and work to fortnightly sprints.
