Senior Predictive Modelling Analyst - Risk

The Predictive Modelling team of this commercial organisation have a number of opportunities to be a Senior Predictive Modelling Analyst in Risk. The modelling team are central to the Risk function; they provide the framework through which decisions are made so customers' and investors' money is safe. You'll help to build and maintain the foundations of business decisions. By developing and evolving the models across capital, credit and other behavioural risk areas your insight will contribute to achieving best in class risk models.

Responsibilities

*Working on the design and development of AIRB, IFRS9 and forecasting models and operational scorecards.

*Offering insight and making recommendations that contribute to achieving best in class risk models.

*Supporting the continued development of a best practice modelling culture.

*Undertaking analysis, design, build and implementation of risk policies, frameworks, processes, models and/or systems.

*Providing recommendations for model enhancements.

*Producing clear well written model documentation to support Independent Model Validation.

*Developing model monitoring suite to monitor the performance of the models and provide managers with early warning signs of adverse risk trends and emerging risks.

*Producing MI to support reporting by managers and senior leaders, ensuring issues are escalated.

Key skills and experience

*Experience of developing analytic solutions

*Sound experience of working with SAS programming and MS Excel

*If you have retail AIRB modelling, IFRS9, decision scorecard or forecasting experience that would definitely be advantageous.

*The ability to build successful and collaborative relationships as you'll work with a number of stakeholders across the business at all levels

*An understanding of key risk principles and a lust for learning as you keep abreast of established and emerging industry practices
