General Builder, Carpenter, Plasterer & Painter with Core Drilling Experience

This Fibre and Broadband Media Provider are seeking a quality driven General Builder, Carpenter, Plasterer, Painter with Core Drilling experience to work in the London and West End area.

£35,000 to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits + All Tool Requirements and Vehicle will be Supplied by the Client

London, Zone 1, West End, Mayfair, Kensington, Knightsbridge etc

Due to massive growth and investment, this dynamic and growing network services provider are seeking a professional, quality driven Builder, Carpenter, Plasterer, Painter and Core Driller who seeks a challenge orientated, varied and multi-tasking role in the London area.

Ideally you will have a background gained in the Building trade and be a good "all-rounder" with quality skills in Carpentry, Plastering, Painting and ideally come with Core Drilling Experience.

Report directly to the Head of Engineering & Fibre Installations the role will require working on behalf of Fibre Broadband and Telecoms Engineers and you will be tasked with planning and making "points of entry" and "points of access" into business premises and multi-storey, installing cable containment including working in loft areas and confined spaces.

The tasks will require you to be efficient with:

* Installing cable containment and trunking (metal & plastic)

* Installing Loft Hatches

* Making points of entry and access into buildings / internal & external hatches

* Making good all access and entry holes

* Plastering, Carpentry and Painting of the highest quality

* General Builder who can cut and shut

* Quality of work as you will need to make good after once cables are in place, plaster/paint etc

* Experience and certifications for using power tools, core drilling and compressor tools

As well as a CSCS Card and Health & Safety Qualified you will also require:

* Proven experience as a General Building, Plasterer, Painter & Carpenter

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities i.e. you are personable and approachable

* Excellent organizational skills.

* Solid knowledge of Health & Safety procedures

* Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements

* Strong attention to detail

* Be able to prioritize and manage tasks i.e. "what's urgent over what's important"

Previous experience with large network and telecoms carriers such as BT Openreach, Virgin Media will be advantageous.
