Supply Chain Manager - Bristol - Salary up to £51kpa

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to be based in Bristol on client site. The end client is a leading telecommunications company.

The position will be, initially a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with the view of being taken on permanently by the end client at a later stage.

The role

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the warehouse supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximise the process efficiency and productivity. In addition, developing and maintaining good relationships with third parties, supplier and vendors.

Responsibilities

*Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy

*Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

*Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams

*Determine key supply chain KPIs

*Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements

*Suggest solutions for process improvements

*Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner

*Train and evaluate others

*Provide constructive feedback

*Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors

*Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

*Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager in a large organisation

*Experience managing third parties, supplier and vendors

*Excellent client-facing, written and verbal communication skills

*Warehousing Inventory logistics exposure beneficial

*A background within telecoms would be highly desirable
