An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a dynamic DevOps Engineer with proven experience in an AWS environment and Kubernetes. The client is rapidly expanding, based in Manchester, and has sights set on further growth.

You will be working on client side with one of the client's partners. You will be responsible for supporting and improving their production environments. Their aim is to have a fully automated CI/CD pipeline, which will be the central focus of your role. You will also be troubleshooting Linux.

You should possess the following skills:

* Practical and proven experience within the LAMP stack

* Proven experience working with automation (Ansible) within an AWS environment

* Strong Linux skills, and the ability to script (BASH)

* Experience with web (Apache/Nginx) and database technologies (MySql/Aurora)

* Proven experience with Jenkins will be an advantage

* Additional skills with (CloudWatch/ELK/Zabbix) are favourable.

The initial contract is for 6 months with potential for extension. There will be the possibility for remote work for the right candidate.

The client is looking to hire someone ASAP, with interviews planned for the next week.
