Graduate Software Engineer (C / C++ Python Linux). Market leading hardware vendor whose products are used to provide super low latency and high performance for clients including Investment Banks and Stock Exchanges is seeking a bright, ambitious Graduate Software Engineer with a strong academic background.

Joining an experienced team, as a Graduate Software Engineer you will focus on the design and implementation of embedded firmware which runs on 10G network controllers; you'll be working closely with the silicon team to refine the performance of their next generation silicon and developing production firmware for use by the driver teams.

You'll be based in modern offices in Cambridge with casual dress code, onsite parking available and commutable by train.

Requirements:

*Record of academic achievement, minimum 2.1 from a well regarded university, ideally you will have gone on to study at MSc / PhD level (Maths, Physics or Computer Science preferred)

*Software engineering skills, ideally C / C++ and Python

*Good working knowledge of Linux OS

*Collaborative with strong communication skills, keen to learn and share knowledge with others
