Logistics Operations EngineerOur client, a leading organisation within their field who have experienced genuine growth in recent times, is looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Engineer to join their team based near Derby, on a permanent basis.Logistics Operations Engineer - Key Skills:

'€¢Have a degree/tertiary qualification in one of the following disciplines:'€¢Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Logistics (preferred) or related field, or equivalent experience'€¢An understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management'€¢3-5 years related experience in warehousing, high volume manufacturing, distribution, production planning and/or transportation environment'€¢Knowledge of WMS and WCS'€¢Bilingual (English / German) preferable'€¢An engineering industry background complimented by recognised experience'€¢Operational experience within and automated distribution facility'€¢Strong skills in report development'€¢ITIL Foundation

Logistics Operations Engineer - Responsibilities:

'€¢Continuously analysing and improving the operational process'€¢Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives'€¢Investigating complaints and suggestions'€¢Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions'€¢Monitoring technical availability'€¢Monitoring performance'€¢Contributing information and opinion to unit design and modification teams'€¢Supervision of Implementing changes'€¢Provides operational management information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing operational and engineering data for future trends and developments
