Junior Scientist / Research Engineer - Maritime + benefits £30K-£35K + benefits - Portsmouth

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic + benefits

Location: Portsmouth

Introduction:

A leading defence and security consultancy are looking to bring in a junior scientist / research engineer - to join their team and help them work on a number of prestigious projects and programmes within the maritime industry specialising in Simulation and Modelling.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a physics, mathematics or engineering background and few years of work experience to be developed into this position.

Experience and skills required:

Good strong scientific background (physics or mathematics degree)

Willing to learn and get involved

Keen interest in maritime/ naval platforms

Desirrable:

* Computer skills - Matlab, Python, C
