Service Engineer (Electrical / PLC's, European Travel)

£38,000 - £45,000 + Overtime (OTE £60k) + Bonus + Travel + OEM Training

Can be Based Anywhere in the UK [Ideally close to an International Airport]

Excellent role available for a service engineer at a company that will offer world class training to become a technical expert in a challenging role with an industry leading company.

Are you skilled in the fault finding and repair of PLC Systems? Are you comfortable with travelling around Europe and staying away from home?

This company are the established market leader within the manufacture, supply and aftercare of specialist packaging equipment. They have a reputation for being technical experts in their field, developed through a long history offering the highest level of service. They now have an opportunity for an engineer within their European service team.

In this role you will benefit from OEM training where you will become an expert on this equipment. Your duties will include travelling to sites across the UK and around Europe to perform planned and reactive maintenance, and as you become more established in the role you will have the opportunity to get involved in commissioning and installation work.

This role would ideally suit an ambitious and driven engineer with experience working within a similar industry, who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a world renowned manufacturer. Due to the nature of the role machinery has been distributed worldwide and you will be travelling and staying away from home for around 70% of the time.

The Role:

* Servicing and repairs of packaging equipment

* Supporting clients with start-ups and installations, including training staff

* Travelling across Europe and staying away from home

The Person:

* Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding skills

* Experience working on PLC systems and related equipment

* Ideally close to an International Airport and good transport links

* Looking for a Career with an industry leading company.
