HP|konnect is looking for Tech Lead to join agile, innovative, all-around skilled young team of Engineers and team up with experienced Project Managers to work on stable telecoms product line as well as on greenfield software engineering projects. You want to keep coding, creating software but you are also great mentor to your team and eager to understand broader business requirements.

The Role

Lead and grow engineering teams

Lead projects, features and direct work of distributed software project teams

Work with team on design, dependencies, backlog and code maintainability

Provide time and size estimates for project deliverables

Provide accurate status on deliverables and risk throughout the project

Champion best practices for software development

Review team deliverables to ensure that quality goals are met

Perform hands-on software development, requirements capture, specification, bug fixing, unit testing, automated functional testing

Mentoring and knowledge sharing

Tech Stack

Computer Science (or equivalent) Honours degree or postgraduate degree

3 + years in a tech project lead role

Proficient in Java and popular Java frameworks as Spring, Hibernate...etc.

Ability to lead cross functional teams

Experience implementing Agile process and tooling

Automated testing, refactoring, source control management, CI/CD

Linux/UNIX including command-line tools and scripting

Strong customer focus and ability to design solutions to meet their needs

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Nice to have:

Frontend development (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS)

Databases design and optimisation

AWS

Timeseries databases
