Role: SQL BI Developer x2

Position: Permanent

Location: Stockport

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

A great opportunity has risen in the Stockport area for a SQL BI Developer to join an exciting company. The purpose of the role is to maintain the companies existing platforms and develop additional solutions. You will be part of an agile data management team responsible for all SQL Server and ETL processes within BI, development and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

*Monitor and maintain existing SQL server production databases and data warehouses.

*Provide 1st/2nd line support for database faults

*Optimise SQL code and configurations to ensure high performance

*Handle common database procedures such as upgrades, backups, restores and migration

*Work closely with the business to ensure compliance to the GDPR

Experience:

*Commercial experience of MS SQL server 2012 and above (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS)

*Commercial experience working within Data Management / BI team

*Experience with BI technologies

*Experience working with SQL Data warehouses
