Technical Support Engineer required to join well established and expanding software house offering innovative software solutions to clients across the UK, US and Canada. This role would suit a candidate who has experience supporting a networked software product and sitting on top of a Microsoft / Windows infrastructure.
My client is looking for a software analyst who can offer some or all of the following qualities
Experience providing technical helpdesk support to external clients
Knowledge of Windows server, Active Directory
SQL Server / Database Management
Network knowledge such as Firewalls, DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP
This Technical Support Engineer position offers full product training. You must have excellent technical communication skills. You will be supporting technical experts calling in with issues regarding a product that is used by 2 million people and 18 million hours of time. Candidates with a background working as Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, Systems Administration or Network Infrastructure Engineer would be a good fit.
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients to resolve technical queries and issues.
- Ensuring smooth running and delivery of service to clients.
- Provide training for users of the software
- Liaising with software development and product teams.
