Are you a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer with experience of overseeing inspection activities and quality assurance work? Do you have experience using ISO 9001 standards?

Established over 25 years ago this company design and manufacture electro-mechanical components mainly for the Aerospace and Defence sectors. Having set themselves apart from the completion through their specialist products and exceptional service they now require a Quality Engineer to further enhance their reputation.

In this role you will be maintaining the Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2015) whilst playing a hands-on role within inspection, testing and other quality control processes. You'll be a crucial link between suppliers, customers and internal departments through devising and implementing audits and carrying out corrective actions to resolve any issues.

The ideal person will be a hands-on quality engineer with strong quality assurance and quality systems experience. You will be a confident problem solver who can communicate well and will want to play an important role within the quality function. The Role:

* Maintaining the Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2015)

* Overseeing Inspection functions from goods inwards to final assembly

* Devising audits and corrective actions from outcomes

* Supporting production on all quality related issues

* Acting as a crucial link between suppliers and internal departments

* £30,000 - £33,000 + Pension + Training + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

The Person:

* Experience as a hands-on Quality Engineer within a manufacturing/production environment

* Hands-on inspection and testing work including final assembly/inspection

* High attention to detail with the ability to communicate at all levels
