E-Serve is the delivery arm of Ofgem, the regulator of Britain's gas and electricity markets, and is helping to shape the future of the energy market - delivering better energy efficiency through renewable energy sources, and protecting the interests of energy consumers. If you choose to be part of our team you can expect plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience, with the professional support you need to reach your full potential.

Are you ready to play an instrumental role in a business-critical project? With the introduction of a new IT system fully approved, this is a rare opportunity to be involved in a complex, challenging project from the discovery phase onwards. As part of a multi-skilled project team, you will coordinate a range of activities and manage a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work at pace is vital. As we move from discovery to specification, through to development and implementation, you will manage project deliverables, take ownership, provide clear updates to senior managers and ensure compliance. The opportunity to see the full project lifecycle, build your knowledge and enhance your further career development, is exceptional.

Operating in an agile environment, you must be motivated, engaged and adaptable, ready to take initiative and see tasks through. A background in project management is essential, supported by excellent interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills. A technical mindset, with real attention to detail, will be important so that you can communicate complex technical issues to a wide range of stakeholders. Ideally, you will already have some knowledge of the energy industry, supported by a recognised project management qualification.

Ofgem can offer you a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which includes:
Up to 30 days' annual leave
Excellent training and development opportunities
The opportunity to join the Civil Service pension arrangements, which include a valuable range of benefits
Flexible working hours and family friendly policies
Restaurant and subsidised gym (London location only)
Interest free season ticket loan.
