We are looking for the best Cloud Technicians on the market to join our Microsoft Azure public cloud team based in Kosice, Slovakia. You would be joining a brand new team, focussing on enhancing the development of our cloud services. The successful candidate would be joining one of the largest telecoms companies in Europe and this role would offer you the opportunity to work on the latest technologies on a global scale! In particular, we are keen to get in contact with the most aspiring and pioneering engineers who are striving to explore new areas and push the boundaries of our advancement.

Role:

* The overall purpose of your role will be to continuously develop our public IT systems and applications

* You will be scripting in Python and Perl, whilst also developing in Java

* You will be in close contact with non-technical parties within our company to gather information, in particular for our expert Analysts and Product Owners

* Our projects all revolve around SCRUM methodologies and we tend to use a DevOps model, in order to create a truly "Agile" development process

* You will be involved in Research and Development projects, giving you the chance to explore new areas and find the best solutions on the market

* You will become a part of our global development teams, specifically with our German-based colleagues.

Requirements:

* Ideally we are looking for a University graduate with an IT-based degree

* A basic knowledge of Window or Linux systems

* Experience with Python, Java or Perl

* Experience with Microsoft Azure would be an advantage, but not a necessity

* Knowledge of infrastructure components, operating systems, databases and networking

* Strong English skills to communicate with our global teams
