BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

London

Initially 3 months

£400.0 - £450.0 per day

We have an exciting and dynamic role focused on growing with inputs to strategy, capability development, business development, marketing and bids.

The primary elements of the role will be to develop relationships with, and carry out research into, new markets and customers to tailor the overall sales strategy and specific value propositions.

You will also be required to identify opportunities and leverage internal capability to win new business.

Ket Activities

* Work with the BD Team to develop and contribute to the strategy inclusive of an awareness and approach for international growth.

* Carryout detailed research into new client and new market sectors creating detailed insights and fact base to enable the development of comprehensive capture plans.

* Work in partnership with business and functional leaders as well as clients (as is appropriate) and support bid processes and the tendering process.

* Support and develop new customer relationships.

* Work with strategic development teams to understand future technologies and improved process management techniques.

* Work in close collaboration with Marketing and Communications to create and develop appropriate communications as well as supporting trade shows and other brand awareness, sales and business development events and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

* Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

* Previous experience of bid process and procedures.

* Strong analytical/problem solving/decision making skills.

* Strong skills in using software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio etc.

* Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Other Duties

There may be a requirement for regular travel between sites within the UK and overseas.
