This IT and Telecoms company are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer (1st Line) to join an existing team that is responsible for ensuring that IT services achieve high levels of availability and reliability.

The head office is based in Lancashire but the candidate would be required to be based in High Wycombe (HP12) and will also be field based in the Southern Region.

A company vehicle will be provided.

As a Technical Engineer, you will be required to support systems and associated tools which facilitate continuous proactive monitoring of customers systems but also aid in the delivery of software into production

Role and Responsibilities:.

- Ideal candidate would have at least 2 years support experience of general IT support in a Microsoft Windows environment.

- To be able to attend sites and perform hardware installation and support.

- To perform daily and weekly systems checks.

- To participate as a member of the support team assigned to resolve incidents emanating from the business via the Service Desk on a first line basis.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

The candidate would need a good standard of education.

Preferred Skills:

- Microsoft systems experience - Windows Server 2008/2012/2016

- Virtual environment experience

- Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016

- Microsoft Office 2013 / 2016 / Office 365

- A foundation understanding of networking both Local Area and Wide Area

- Full UK Driving Licence - Clean

- Flexibility is required as you may be asked to work earlier or later than your normal working hours on occasion
