SC Network Design Engineer (Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Solarwinds) - Manchester - 6 Month Contract

My client, a large technology consultancy are looking for a number of Network Engineers to join them in Manchester on a 6 month initial contract. The positions will be working with a large Public Sector customer with some work expected in Canary Wharf over the life of the contract and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Background:

* The positions will involve supporting a large decommission project to assist with a Data Centre move as well as some configuration and troubleshooting work.

* You will also be assisting with some discovery work to examine which customers will be involved and the steps that need to be taken.

* Successful candidates will also need to document the existing environments.

Required Skills:

* Candidates should ideally have extensive hands on experience as a Network Engineer with some exposure to design work.

* Any prior experience in Data Centre move projects would be beneficial.

* Candidates should have extensive experience with the likes of Cisco and Juniper and the client want to see candidates with exposure to Checkpoint Firewalls as well as Solarwinds.

* Any experience of Citrix Netscaler would also be beneficial.

* Candidates should also hold an active SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.
