Have an exciting opportunity for a fin-tech company looking to take on a DevOps engineer to install and improve systems
RESPONSIBILTIES:
* Develop an automated system to reduce manual repeat
* Working on AWS cloud platforms
* Use tools like terraform, Chef, Jenkins and Kafka
* Pro-actively taking preventative action when issues are identified.
* Monitoring their cloud and existing data centre application and the underlying infrastructure components.
* Supporting development team, joining a team in an DevOps environment.
SKILLS:
* Expertise in AWS platform in tools like cloud formation, EC2, ELB, Route 53, cloud formation S3.
* Expertise in DevOps practices with speciality in cloud deployment, infrastructure as code, build and deliver.
* Experience in AWS platform in tools like DevOps.
* Good understanding of Linux and AWS operating system.
* Previous exposure to a range of technologies in a digital/ecommerse environment.
* An ability to demonstrate problem-solving mind-set along with a logical, pragmatic approach.
* Experience monitoring tools.
* Good communication skills and to train people within the company.
* Understanding of incident and problem management process.
