This Sheffield based software house are looking to hire yet another Business Analyst after a record period of growth and investment.
Working to provide the public sector with software solutions designed to be a critical part of delivering change.
The Role:
We are looking for a BA to support the development of the software by liaising with customers, both new and existing, and internal teams. You will support the sales team by contributing to technical tenders and product roadmaps. Once you have created the requirements spec, it will then be handed over to the dev team, although you will be expected to remain involved during the development process as well.
Ensure that the functionality proposed meets the needs of a rapidly changing environment and its users.
Customer engagement through either face-to-face or webex/remote workshops.
Work with product managers to develop the goal of the products.
Demonstrate the product to internal stakeholders and customers/users.
Skills needed:
Strong BA backgroundKnowledge of the public sector and an understanding of the types of software they use.Awareness of different integration styles including file transfer, shared databases, remote procedure invocation and messagingPublic facing web applicationsUnderstanding of systems engineering conceptsYou need to be willing to travel occasionally, typically 3 times a month to client site.
