Salary up to £70k + benefits

We're looking for energetic and enthusiastic leaders, willing to drive change and practice excellent software management disciplines to deliver innovative and inspiring projects to the business.

You'll be a hands-on and technical leader, with previous experience managing a team as an effective team player, actively leading and supporting the team in their day-to-day roles and personal development.

You'll need at least 3 years' experience working in an Agile Development environment, with significant experience in leading complex software projects with both internal and external parties.

We're looking for an individual who can challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style. Someone with the ability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with longer term planning. Results driven and demonstrates, tenacity, drive and perseverance, with the ability to deliver in a complex and demanding environment.

Essential:

* Significant experience in leading complex software projects with both internal and external parties through the entire development life-cycle, utilising agile approaches

* Experience of delivering products through a team, utilising strong people management skills

* Significant technical knowledge of cloud and enterprise solutions.

* Knowledge and experience of applying principles and tool-sets supporting robust software delivery (Devops, QA, Agile, TDD, Continuous Integration, Git, Jira…)

* Sound understanding of coding with first-hand experience of development

* Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels

* Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred

* A strong negotiator able to influence and deliver sound technical strategies in a global organisation

* Experience of building and managing multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments

Desirable:

* Working with global teams across time zones

* Experience of delivering change in an organisation

* Knowledge of Automotive Software

* Knowledge / experience of working with or deploying DevOps toolsets (AWS / GCP, Docker, Kubernettees, Ansible etc…)

* Knowledge / experience of working with or deploying cloud architectures.
