One of our key clients is looking to recruit an NOC Team Leader on a permanent basis to assist the current manager in leading a team of 6 six NOC Engineers.

My client are a very reputable and successful telecoms company who can offer the successful candidate a genuine career structure along with a fun and collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

*Manage ticket workload by allocation amongst team members in an efficient and timely

manner based on team skills and experience.

*Maximise network availability by monitoring performance and troubleshooting network degradation and outages, executing standard changes and collaborating with engineering & network specialists on network optimisation.

*Ensure impacted network service is restored within SLA, jeopardy managing workload based on priority, using technical and hierarchical escalation as appropriate.

*Ensure all NOC Operations activities are accurately recorded with complete and accurate information.

*Manage 24/7 shift rota to ensure that NOC Operations cover is maintained 24/7, 365 days per year.

*Remote support of field engineers and end users/customers where appropriate.

*Coach and mentor team members to ensure the team operates efficiently, accurately and professionally.

*Exhibit company values at all times, leading by example and encouraging others to do the same.

*Conduct regular staff progress reviews and appraisals

*Manage team skills matrix and individual development plans, arranging training as

required to meet technology requirements.

Key Skills:

*Cisco IOS IP and associated routing protocols Knowledge of BGP, OSPF

*Network Support experience in Service Provider environment

*Proven experience working in a team lead role

*Good under pressure very analytical

*Good troubleshooting skills
