Product Manager - Ecommerce / Retail

We are looking for a Product Manager to join this leading, FTSE100 international Tech organisation. The business builds innovative tech which is used both internally and sold to customers across the world.

Whilst this is an established organisation, this is a unique opportunity to join one of the few teams that don't already have a Product Manager in place. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity to build something and make a name for yourself in a truly global organisation.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the following:

* Taking ownership of the long-term product vision for market leading B2B eCommerce / retail platforms.

* Understand the market and competitors and ensuring that products always remain ahead of the game.

* Work closely with the Product Owners to establish a long-term product roadmap, and to help understand any concern with product delivery.

* Be a focal point for customer engagement understanding where improvements can be made and what they are looking for from a new product.

* Be the Product Manager for a couple of products whilst looking after any other members of staff who are assigned to these specific areas.

Experience and skill set required for the Product Manager (eCommerce / Retail):

* An excellent demonstrable background in Product Management within an Agile environment.

* Looking after large Product releases within the eCommerce / Retail space.

* Excellent understanding of customers and using feedback to drive product improvement and change.

* Excellent understanding of creating product roadmaps and grooming backlogs.

* Able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers.

* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and be appreciative of stakeholder demands.

* A background in software development would be beneficial but not essential.

* A great understanding of the importance of UX in all digital products.

* Any international B2B experience within the retail space would be hugely desirable!

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
