Test Manager | Hampshire Near Southampton | 30,000 - 40,000

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with a growing technology company as they look to secure a Test Manager where you will be key in helping to develop an automated and manual test infrastructure and team.

Test Manager job duties:

You will manage and perform manual and automated test suite execution, whilst defining processes to improve reliability

Liaise with Development Engineers to analyse and design solutions to provide automated test programmes as part of the development process

Research and develop ideas for improving existing and future systems that will make the development process more efficient and cost effective

Taking feedback from sales and support to develop new test programmes to reduce field returns

Produce management and quality statistics

Liaise with the Sales department for production requirements

Test Manager | Test Lead pre-requisites:

Around two years experience managing or working within a testing team with strong communications skills

Experience using both Windows and Linux systems

Beneficial experience with the below is an advantage:

Experience in the following protocols iSCSI/FC/SAS/SCSI/TCP.

Ability to develop using either Java/C#/C++/C

Experience of networking: topologies, routing and configurations

Experience in scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Expect etc.)

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline

Experience with test tools and platforms Jenkins/Selenium/TestLink/JUnit/Robot Framework/Maven/SQL
