Electronics Engineer | Design and product support | Bristol
A growing technology business based in Bristol are looking for an experienced all-round Electronics Engineer to join their team. The Core aspects of the role are:
* Electronics hardware design, verification and validation.
* Production and service support.
* System troubleshooting, identification and resolution of problems
* General new product engineering project support
Location: Bristol
Type: Contract or Permanent
Rate: £40-45 per hour or £40-45,000 per annum
Roles and Responsibilities
* Design and development of electronic equipment to company procedures and regulatory standards
* Maintenance and support of existing designs.
* Generation of technical documentation such as design and validation reports, manufacturing and production data and service/user manuals.
* Production support for new and existing designs, liaising with suppliers to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
* Take day-to-day technical/systems issues away from senior system experts. Fix the problem and stop it happening again.
* Calibration, installation and servicing of systems, both on and off site.
* Liaison with distributers as necessary.
* Support the development and maintenance of technical files to maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
* Adherence to company plans and product performance goals.
Experience and Qualifications
* At least 2-3 years post-graduation experience, ideally within a highly regulated industry
* Experience with complex electromechanical devices
* Degree in electronic engineering or related subject.
* Experience with device electrical safety and EMC compliance design and test
* Service planning (spare parts, service manual, fault trees, support processes)
* Experience with RF circuit design ideal but not essential
* Some project leadership experience ideal but not essential
