About the role

Here at Babcock we're looking to recruit an Applications Support Analyst on a permanent, full time basis. Your working hours will be 8:30am - 5:30pm, 5 days a week and you will be on call once every 6 weeks 24/7.

What do I need to do the role?

You must be proficient in SQL including coding. An understanding in Java is desirable as well as any knowledge on MQ Server.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

* Problem analysis

* Providing technical support

* Maintaining records/incident logs/knowledge base

* System set-up/configuration requests

* Training new users

* System optimisation and local configuration changes

* Report writing and data analysis

* Software packages in a Windows server environment

What else do I need to know?

* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role and will also need to complete a medical assessment.
