We are looking for an experienced IT professional with familiarity and experience of working in an ICT department and used to working as part of a small team to support all ICT business needs and projects. Reporting to the IT Manager you will act as a first point of contact for internal ICT related queries, so the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to issues quickly and efficiently, whilst having a good eye for detail, is essential.

Primary responsibilities and accountabilities
? Providing 2nd and 3rd Line technical support for all hardware and software for the company internal systems across the group
? Perform routine checks of ICT system health, including system backups, disk space and hardware status
? Deployment and installation of PC equipment as required
? Be the first point of contact for ICT queries and to work proactively towards a resolution as quickly as possible. To undertake 2nd line fault resolution for any business system or reporting incident
? To maintain a good understanding of the business systems infrastructure and architecture so that user issues can be understood, and a clear definition of the problem source can be, if required, escalated on to the IT Manager
? A skill in explaining things clearly in Plain English is essential
? To assist in managing and maintaining the Proactis Hosted Environments in the UK and the US and performing the role of system managers for those customers who host their Proactis Software with Proactis. Proactis follows an ITIL Approach to manage and maintain any change within these environments
? To provide customer satisfaction to the agreed business levels
? To ensure that the highest levels of courtesy and proactive responses are being adhered to
? To ensure that both verbal and written communications are of the highest standards
? To ensure that accurate records are kept of all communications

Qualifications and Essential Experience
? Windows Server 2012/2016 setup and administration experience.
? Backup software - Data Protection Manager 2012 / Veeam
? Good sound working knowledge of Firewalls, VPNs, Routers and Switches
? Microsoft Active Directory, Print Server, Office 365 and SQL administration
? Experience of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Microsoft Office ? Experience using Monitoring tools
? Experience with cloud Technologies such as Office 365 and Azure
? Imaging Technologies - Acronis, Windows Deployment Services
? Understanding of IT security issues including anti-virus, malware prevention
? Understanding of Virtual environments - Hyper-V and VMWare
? Familiarity of working across multiple sites and dealing with remote support.
? Ability to create detailed documentation of systems and project work
? Effective communication and troubleshooting skills
? The ability to understand and analyse problems
? The ability to work under pressure and to handle all end-users in a positive and confident manner
? The ability to prioritise and escalate work schedules
? An understanding of financial and procurement processes and procedures used within Small, Medium and Large Enterprises would be advantageous
? Must demonstrate a hands-on approach and consistent delivery
Experience & System Desirables ? Knowledge of SharePoint technologies ? Understanding of complex networking such as VLANS and WANs. ? Knowledge and administration of storage solutions. ? Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre 2012 suite ? Administration of Team Foundation Server 2013 ? SQL Server AdministrationManagement and configuration of VOIP internal
