The organization is seeking an IT Operations Landscape Manager (OLM), responsible for delivering smooth IT operations of applications and their related back-end technologies. The OLM is responsible for end-to-end application operations delivery for all ITIL activities. They are required to manage a vendor which provides day-to-day operational services via a managed service contract.

Key deliverables

* Ensure a proactive approach to the Health and Safety of team members and Supplier staff;

* Accountable for the IT Service Management, Service Delivery and Support of the organization's Well Engineering landscape IT services;

* Manage service delivery performance of 3rd party Managed Service;

* Ensure that service level agreements are in place, ever greened and meeting the needs of the business stakeholders; * Build deep and productive relationships with Key business stakeholders;

* Manage the delivery of the technical landscape components (Applications, Infrastructure and Data);

* Manage IT service costs and billing to the business using robust costs models for services delivered. Identify areas to reduce service cost, eliminate waste and maximize efficiency;

* Report service performance on a monthly basis and undertake activities to ensure that KPI's are met. Undertake analysis of service performance data of own and 3rd party service delivery. Identify trends & systemic issues, instigate problem management and identify areas for continuous improvement;

* Ensure ITIL processes are adhered to and that asset and configuration systems are accurate;

* Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ongoing service delivery and maintain a risk register with the business. Ensure relevant information security controls are in place;

* Ensure effective management of significant and recurring service impacts and bring parties together to ensure prompt service restoration and resolution;

* Support new service developments and enhancements ensuring appropriate transition to support and sign-off.

* Leadership and Stakeholder Management;

* Wells and Upstream Oil & Gas domain knowledge.

Mandatory requirements

* Strong Focus on Health and Safety;

* Degree in relevant IT or Wells technical discipline;

* Significant experience (10+ Years) in Wells business and/or IT Service Management or Delivery in an Oil and Gas global setting;

* Strong Stakeholder Management, relationship and negotiation skills to work with multiple stakeholders across organizational and business boundaries at all levels;

* Highly motivated with experience of building and nurturing a high performing global team;

* Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization driving delivery excellence through influence and team working. Ability to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectively;

* Strong Leadership, Interpersonal and Communication skills.

Preferred requirements

* 3rd party supplier management skills;

* Experience in managing delivery of Wells IT Operations;

* Good understanding of the Well Delivery business and Wells Business process and terminology.
