The Company is a Residential Property Development Company based in Nottingham city centre and have a vacancy for an experienced residential Head of Construction or Construction Director to join their successful and growing team. In fact, they are growing at over 30% per annum, so this is an exciting time for anyone joining the company.

This role will be based from the regional office in Nottingham and will be responsible for directly managing Construction, and the team constructing over 150 properties per annum.

The Role:

As a Head of Construction / Construction Director you will be responsible for overseeing various large housing projects and managing the team of Contracts Managers and Site Managers. You will be responsible for keeping costs to budget, and hitting site completion deadlines. Each site is for between 15-40 apartments or houses.

You will be responsible for managing the internal Construction team build up process and employing key personnel including site Managers.

Managing your team to build more quality houses for their customers on time and within budget.

Key Requirements:

Essential

* Minimum of 10 years experience on residential sites

* Experience in site management - Managing over 20 properties on a site

* QS experience - able to review a site and put together costings, alongside their current architectural team and Contracts Manager

* Excellent communication skills

* An up to date CSCS card (black management card)

* Confident leadership, especially from a health and safety perspective

Desirable

* Conversion experience - office to residential

* Experience on both new builds and conversions

* Previous qualifications such as a BTEC, NVQ 4 in Site Management or an HND/ Degree or equivalent
