Technical Support Engineer
A brand-new opportunity has just become available for a Technical Support Engineer to join an expanding team at an innovative business in Letchworth. Working in partnership with the incumbent Engineer, the primary focus of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide timely support to end-users, as well as ensuring maintenance and support of the business' hardware and system and assisting with the current roll-out of Office 365 across the company.
Working as a Technical Support Engineer, your role will include:
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
* Providing technical support across the company, whether in person, over the phone or using remote access.
* Setting up and maintaining accounts for new users.
* Repairing and replacing hardware.
To be considered for the Technical Support Engineer role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Strong all-round technical support experience.
* Knowledge of Office 365 and best practices, as well as SharePoint and ideally MS Project.
* Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript) is beneficial.
* PowerApps experience is advantageous.
* PowerShell skills are advantageous.
