Based in the beautiful city of Cambridge a great opportunity has become available for a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join an established company who are a leading manufacturer of electronic equipment who's products are sold globally through carefully selected partners.
The Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer will be tasked with designing the full lifecycle or power supplies including DC-DC and AC-DC and their associated magnetics including transformers, inductors and capacitors to meet EU and BS safety standards. The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will also be responsible for proposal's, prototyping, pre-productions, compliance and release.
The successful candidates will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering with exposure to the following:
- Magnetics design
- SMPS topologies - I.e Flyback, Forward, LLC, Buck, Boost.
- Product management and upgrade.
- Project management.
