About the role

We are looking for an experienced analyst with a strong background in research to develop the intelligence that we receive from our network of 152 local Healthwatch based around the country.

One of our greatest challenges is understanding how people’s experiences vary across communities and for those who often find it difficult to be heard - you will have the skills to help us meet this challenge so that health and care services work for everyone.

This is an exciting opportunity for analysts working across other government sectors looking to broaden their experience within the field of research and intelligence.

As part of this opportunity you will:

Take a leading role in working with our network to improve the way we do our research, applying creative approaches to gathering the experiences of people who use health and care services at a national level.

Develop intelligence products to support organisational decision making and our influencing strategy as well as applying a breadth of techniques to make sense of the insight that we collect and collate.

What you’ll bring to the role

A strong background in research with experience of leading analytical or research work

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present your research findings to a range of audiences

A sound understanding of data management systems and products and the principles of qualitative and quantitative research methods

Experience of effective horizon scanning to turn large volumes of data into useful intelligence
