About the role

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit an Environmental Practitioner to join our team based at HMNB Clyde who are responsible for supporting the royal navy with their many naval programmes.

You will be part of a team that has vast experience in environmental services who provide professionally competent specialist environmental advice for all operational activities and projects with the ultimate aim of supporting staff throughout HMNB Clyde (Faslane and Coulport).

Using your experience within environmental services, you will develop and maintain the environmental management systems in compliance with legislation and creating detailed reports on inspections, audits & incidents. This role will require you to support in the prevention of environmental incidents and near misses through education and awareness.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to have previous environmental experience and have knowledge of current legislation.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

* Qualifications within environmental management.

* Expertise implementing a variety of audits (Qualified Auditor)

* Demonstrable ability to liaise with staff at all levels

* Effective time management

What else do I need to know?

* The HMNB Clyde base is located in Helensburgh and would require you to be on site on a daily basis.

* 5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday.
