Job Title: Project Engineer

Salary: up to £45,000

Location: Stevenage

Work Pattern: Fulltime Monday to Friday (Some flexibility required for US clients)

Duration: Permanent

The Company:

A team orientated company, based in offices with four other similar sized companies, this is an excellent development opportunity. Their Product has been 2.5 years in research and design and is getting to ready to launch in the USA so it is a very exciting time to join the company who are aim to trebble their turnover in the next 5 years.

The Role of Project Engineer:

As a project engineer, you'll be involved with the planning, coordination, control and 'day to day' running of all development projects and tasks. This includes ensuring that developments projects and tasks are identified, sized, prioritised and planned for execution and delivery using the resources available to you. The Project Engineer will ensure process controls are in place to ensure that the design specifications are met along with consistent quality standards at the right product cost and within the assigned development budget on time.

The majority of the delivery is software, however there is also hardware as well as system testing, bug management, product change management. So a multidisciplinary engineering experience would be an advantage with a software bias.

The Successful Candidate:

* Excellent Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the development activities.

* Ability to quickly grasp engineering concepts and designs

* Ability to think big picture and take into account long-term implications of ones' actions

* The ability to act decisively and project excursions and problems

* Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality

* The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and clients

* Agile/Scrum Experience - Desirable

* Electrical and electronic engineering - Desirable

* Software engineering - Desirable
