Scope of work

You will be involved with the building of a solid, automated data platform that will deliver data to both clients and internal customers. This quality data product will make a positive impact on patients' lives.

The Company

You will be working with a highly skilled team in a friendly working environment. The offices are within walking distance to Public Transport and close by a bustling shopping district in South County Dublin. The company offer great social events in their energetic and entrepreneurial organisation.

Essential Skills:

* Previous Database and data warehouse development Experience

* Experience with RDBS (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL) or MPP (Teradata, Netezza) or NoSQL (Azure HDInsight, Azure Data warehouse, Cloudera Impala)

* Working knowledge of OLAP and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau)

* Experience with OLAP technology on HDInsight Experience with Azure event / Queues

* Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices Agile development methodology

Nice to Haves:

* Experience with DBA Tasks (DR, indexing, performance tuning, partitioning)

* Experience with data blending tools (SAS, SPSS, Dataiku, Alteryx)

* Understanding of columnar oriented data format (Parquet / ORC) for supporting the advanced data science Production experience in Microsoft/.Net development
