Security Engineer / System Administrator London to £65k

Security Engineer / System Administrator (AWS Linux Active Directory Network Security). Are you an experienced System Administrator looking for an opportunity to develop your Security Engineer skills? You'll be learning about the latest cloud security stack (AWS) and broader aspects of information security whilst working alongside a friendly, collaborative and supportive team.

Innovative derivatives trading start-up is seeking a Security Engineer to join their talented London based team. A number of your responsibilities will include; establishing the security for the company's AWS platform, maintaining the Microsoft Active Directory instances, managing and configuring a range of cloud security products, monitoring and alerting on output from cloud cyber products and addressing any issues that occur. As the sole Security Engineer, you'll be the go to person for information security within the company and will have the opportunity to build a talented team around you.

Based in London you'll be joining a successful company that has created an analytics platform to provide insight to front office traders allowing them to make better informed decisions.

Requirements:

*Good knowledge of Cloud deployment (AWS)

*Likely to have a background as a Systems Administrator

*Experience configuring network security layers (VPC/ACLs and Security groups)

*Knowledge of Active Directory management

*Experience of setup and management of malware and boundary monitoring software

*Linux and Windows experience

*Excellent communication skills

As a Security Engineer (AWS) you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £65k) plus bonus.
