The Company is a luxury cloth merchant, operating in over 70 international markets, with a head office and warehouse function based in Peebles, just south of Edinburgh. The Company is currently looking for a full time Assistant IT Manager to join the team in Peebles.
The Role:
The successful candidate will report to the Systems/IT Manager and provide day to day support for the management of the IT team, (consisting of 3 direct reports.) This will include prioritisation and provision of the user support function and in particular, hardware, network infrastructure and user support to approx.100 users located in the Company Head Office and a further 30 users located in 9 Company showrooms.
The Candidate:
Essential Attributes
* Graduate, with relevant IT qualification.
* Hardware, Network Infrastructure and User Support experience.
* Previous supervisory experience.
Desirable Attributes
* Experience of writing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures.
* Knowledge and experience of SQL Query language and programming / development in MS Visual Studio.
