Spring Technology is currently recruiting for an SC or DV cleared Security & Information Risk Advisor, to join a large organization in Milton Keynes on a 6 month contract.

The pay rate will be between £500-£518 per day, with an expected start date in February.

Our client is looking for a Security & Information Risk Advisor who can add value to the security function, providing a cost efficient and modernized cyber security and assurance service, fitting within the wider cyber security strategy which you will also have input into. You will be required to provide expert advice on cyber security strategy, as well as assure all accreditation related matters, also engaging independently with third party suppliers and partners to ensure accreditation compliance.

You will be inputting your knowledge when it comes to designing, developing and delivering a highly effective cyber security, information assurance and accreditation strategy on behalf of the CISO to drive improvements across the wider department, as well as advising key stakeholders on any perceived changes in risk. You will also be responsible for driving the ISO 27001 certification for the business, and also ensuring compliance with emerging standards and security principles. Furthermore you will be supporting the development of new Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS) across the business.

Essential Skills Needed:

* Qualification in an Information Security related area such as CISSP, CCP CESG, Certified Ethical Hacker

* ISO 27001 Audits / Implementation / ISO 27005 knowledge

* Strong history in Information Security or Information Assurance based roles, working with key stakeholders, up to C-Level

* Cryptography, IP Protocols, Network Architectures and Mapping, Fingerprinting

* Background information gathering

* Microsoft Windows / Unix security assessments

* Application Fuzzing

* SC or DV Clearance is preferred
