C / C++ / Software Engineer / 3 month contract / Leeds / up to £450 per day

Contract Length: 3 months highly likely to extend

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Day Rate: up to £450.00

A C/C++ Software Engineer is required for a successful and ambitious company built around an excellent engineering team involved in the design, development and manufacture of rugged electronics devices and software for use in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.

You will be working on building Operating Systems for niche telecommunications and electro-optics which are used in a range of environments. The role requires BPSS Clearance and SC Clearance which the client will provide.

You will be responsible for:

* Developing OS's with Linux

* Using a variety of technologies to interact with other products and platforms

* Working with a team of dedicated software developers

Key Requirements:

* Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject

* 2+ years C/C++ experience

* Current Linux experience 4.x + Kernel

* Building Linux for ARM64 based architectures

* Driver integration

* gstreamer integration/plugin development

* Linux Kernel Debugging and test (desirable)

* NVIDIA Jetson (TX2) development (Desirable)

* NVIDIA DIGITs development (Desirable)

* Python (Desirable)

* Experience of working with 3rd party software developers (desirable)
