Excellent Construction R&D opportunity on offer for someone looking to join an exciting project as Technical lead, where you will oversee the research and development of a £400million project.

Do you have experience as a consultant, researcher, innovation or similar role within manufacturing? Do you have working knowledge of BREEAM?

Established over 50 years ago this company are an innovative group of researchers, scientists, engineers and technicians who share a common goal - to make the built environment better for all. They have recently won a new exciting project and due to this they require a technical lead to join the business and oversee the Research and development of this construction project.

In this role you will oversee the technical delivery through project phases and gate reviews, you will oversee the specification of technical scope across the programme. You will work closely with all programme technical leads, directors and the programme manager. You will assess technical proposals across the programme from sub-contractors, suppliers and delivery partners.

The Role:

* Technical Lead

* Oversee the technical scope of the programme reporting to Programme Manager

* Overseeing key technical department heads and technical teams.

* Validate Project output in line with programme requirement.

* £70'000 - £80'000 + Autonomy, Development, Company Car and Excellent Benefits

The Person

* Project Manager

* Experience working in either a consultant, researcher or innovation role with construction

* Strong BIM background

* Understands principles of offsite manufacturing.

* Wants to oversee an exciting project that could change the construction sector moving forward.
