DevOps/Java Engineer-Prague

You will

* Be member of the Agile team

* Use new tools and technologies whilst composing and implementing the rapid DevOps process to reduce the overall time to market

* Aid in the development of new features and functionalities as well as enhancements to the core systems.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the processes and the system.

Your Desirable Knowledge

* Continuous Integration and Delivery tools such as TeamCity/Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, etc.

* Understanding of Linux shell scripting, Python or other scripting languages.

* Knowledge of Git

* Java development experience

* Knowledge of relational databases (ideally Oracle DB).

* Basic knowledge of AWS.

* Basic knowledge of Docker and related technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.

What typically use

* Java.

* Spring.

* Hibernate.

* Protocol Buffers.

* Messaging middleware (ACE, Solace, MQ).

* Databases and caches (OracleDB, Coherence).

* Development tools such as: IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Git/BitBucket, Maven, TeamCity, Nexus, JUnit, Nolio, Python, etc.

* Linux (on servers) and Windows (mainly on desktops).

* Agile and DevOps techniques.

We are exploring

* Cloud (AWS and internal cloud).

* Containers (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).

* NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

* ElasticStack (ELK).
